Dear All,

Maureen Walton President/Owner/Senior Bookkeeping 678-935-7012My name is Maureen Walton and I started Walton Senior Concierge & Bookkeeping Services out of a need and love for the senior community. I have been a bookkeeper and finance professional for over 30 years and in the last five years I have dedicated my craft to the senior community. Always being extremely fond of the seniors in my family (my grandfather lived to 99, my father to 93, my grandmother to 102, my great-aunt to 98) I would always do what I could to assist them in any way. My grandfather went blind when I was about 6 years old. I remember teaching him how to dial the phone and taking him on long walks every day. He was my best friend. From the time I was little until he passed in 1987, we celebrated our birthdays together since our birthdays were only 5 days apart and his on Thanksgiving! And yes, I was thankful to have him in my life.

I never found the seniors in my family to be a burden -  but a gift. A gift of wisdom and knowledge that I could never get or experience anywhere else. In fact a few years before my grandfather passed away, I spent 12 hours recording him. I knew that once he passed - a wealth of information was going to pass with him. I wish the younger generation knew what a gift they have in their seniors.

My Mom and Dad where the King and Queen of their retirement park in Florida and my grandmother the 'Queen Mother'. Isn't that awesome! They lived their lives to the fullest. Had little to no regrets and created a circle of friends and relationships who still talk about them and remember them fondly today. Isn't that what eternal life is all about?

I also officially became a senior this year! I can now go to the Golden Corral and get the senior discount! OK, you chuckle but it is a milestone for me!

I am dedicated and sincere to my craft. Families are provided a professional that will be with them for a long time. It is not easy to become a member of our professional staff. Our employees must be caring, patient and knowledgeable and provide valued services to our families. It is paramount for our families to be comfortable and to trust our staff. And trust is something that we never take for granted.

Sincerely,

Maureen F. Walton
